14 young people of different age groups - five female riders and nine male riders - are competing for our team with a focus on cross-country.
Sven Pollack (U23)
His first international races and successes have prepared Sven for the U23. His many years of experience, his discipline and his calmness before and during the competition make him ready for the strong competition in his age group. When it's cold, muddy and steep downhill, Sven can call up his full performance.

Pepe Schulz (U23)
Pepe is a passionate endurance and competitive athlete. Long and steep climbs are his element - this is where Pepe can fully utilise his strengths in races. With the progression to U23, he will be moving into tougher and international terrain, where his continuous training will pay off.

Paul Krist (U19)
In the U19 age group, Paul was also able to prove his potential on endurance and challenging routes internationally - the more kilometres and metres in altitude, the better. In training, he loves long mountain bike and CrossFit sessions to get himself in top shape for the races.

Rosalie Sporn (U19)
In the 2024 season, Rosalie won the German U17 championship, proving her ability, discipline and ambition. Numerous individual successes in cross-country races, slalom and parcours make her a successful team rider. Rosalie particularly loves the challenge of mountain biking, both technically and in terms of strength and endurance.

Henri Wolf (U19)
Henri finished the German national youth classification with notable placings and, as the 2024 Hessen champion, is ready for the challenges of the U19s, where he is looking forward to his first international experience and participation in the Cyclocross Bundesliga. Henri is a technician and is working purposefully on his endurance.

Fabienne Grothe (U19)
Fabienne has been riding mountain bikes since 2018. She always bites through the race and never lets herself get rattled. Her sporting role models include Laura Dahlmeier, who has won multiple Olympic gold medals as a biathlete.

Luca Fesenmeier (U19)
First place in the last slalom of the national youth classification and 5th place in the overall ranking make Luca ‘ready’ for a strong U19. He is rarely satisfied with his results and is constantly optimising his performance with ambition and strategy. In races, he impresses with fast starts and foresighted race planning.

Julius Klose (U17)
With skill, perseverance and courage, Julius repeatedly achieves top results. His great ambition, his top placings and his 4th place at the national junior competition show where he is heading. Julius has already shown his potential at the European Championships.

Kira Wolf (U17)
The current Hessen champion is a true role model when it comes to perseverance, motivation and team spirit. She loves the focus that is needed in the various disciplines of this sport and is constantly working on her own development, while never neglecting the fun and enjoyment of the community.

Clemens Müller (U17)
Motivated, determined and a real team player - that's Clemens. He loves the versatility of the sport and the necessary balance of speed, fitness and tactics that a good mountain biker needs. In the 2025 season, Clemens will be relying on his racing experience and skills to compete in the national junior classification.

Paul-Frederick Gebauer (U17)
Our German U15 champion and NRW champion in 2024 is a real talent and surprises with the ease with which he brings this sport to perfection at a young age. His racing tactics are distinctive, as are his ambition and willpower. Always present: his humour and his joy of biking.

Elisabeth Dunemann (U17)
Elisabeth is new to the team starting in the 2025 season. Third in the U15 national junior classification, she shows how to get to the top quickly and stay there. Together with Rosalie, she trains in Kaiserslautern, where she works meticulously on her endurance and riding technique. Her positive attitude radiates to the whole team.

Marlene Müller (U15)
When it rains and the courses become challenging, Marlene is in her element. The Hesse champion in the U15 age group has real power in her legs and surprises her opponents with her speed. Her will to win allows her to push herself to the limit.

Malte Ruppel (U15)
Malte will ride for the Riese & Müller MTB Racing Team from the 2025 season. As a guest rider at the 2024 European Youth Championships in Huskvarna, Malte has already shown what he is capable of and how much he enriches our team in the younger age groups.
Sports Director
Detlef Wagner
Detlef Wagner is in charge of the team as Sports Director. He is a former squad coach in Hesse, father of a passionate XC rider and an enthusiastic MTB rider himself. He supports our young athletes in their athletic development - whether on the side of the track, in the development of individual training plans and goals or during barbell training in winter.

Sylwester Babicz
Sylwester is responsible for the perfect condition of the bikes before, during and after the races. Changing wheels in the tech zone in a matter of seconds and the necessary coolness on the race track are his trademarks. He is a great support for our young talents who, thanks to him, can rely on their equipment and focus on their performance.
