Control Technology: sportily – but safe – out and about.

Only an E-Bike with full suspension offers a perfect grip even on poor roads – keeping you fully in control. That’s why Riese & Müller has been passionately committed to building full-suspension bikes with Control Technology since 1993.
Comfort & relaxation
Many cyclists tend to avoid good-quality roads and the motorised vehicles that use them. However, many cycle paths are not ideal and are often not regularly maintained. Farm tracks and forest trails, which can offer an attractive alternative to busy traffic, are generally rocky and bumpy. A sensible suspension concept provides the solution to this.
Full suspension is a key comfort and health factor on rough terrain or for riders with physical conditions. Suspension more than halves the acceleration forces exerted on the body from the tire through the frame and components.
Safety & dynamics
Perfectly tuned full suspension provides cyclists with a sporty riding experience and the best traction on any surface. It provides better road holding and riding safety at high speeds and in tricky situations – smoothly cushioning vibrations and hard knocks, such as cobblestones, kerbs or unexpected bumps. And there is also suspension for your luggage by attaching the carrier to the main frame, improving riding safety and road handling, even with heavy loads.
The Control Technology's suspension system responds with extreme sensitivity, offering top-class comfort. The result is powerful propulsion and sporty riding without any loss of energy.
Riese & Müller bikes are equipped with high-quality brakes throughout to ensure that the Control Technology is fully effective. To achieve this, we use a special rubber compound for our tires to guarantee short braking distances. The optimised lighting system and ABS option for many models adds the finishing touch to our package for top-rate riding safety.

One platform – so many possibilities.
Close-up: the Delite
The design of the Delite perfectly embodies the integration of Control Technology. Designed as a variable platform, it can be used for a wide range of applications – the choice of components and equipment options is crucial. This is how the Delite is transformed
● from a comfortable S-Pedelec for everyday commuting
● into the Superdelite, an SUV-type E-Bike with twice the battery power for long-distance adventures,
● or even into a trail-hungry EMTB (classification: category 4).
The development process is comparable to the commitment of renowned automotive brands in motor racing: technologies are used in a niche, and extremes are explored to improve everyday mobility products.
Delite mountain: airtime ready.
This is Shaun Wynn on the Delite mountain. He is an apprentice with the E-Bike specialists Ride Electric near Newcastle, England, and had the opportunity to test the bike.
“Yesterday we took the Delite mountain out over the jumps on the home trails. It was incredible”, Shaun said of his impressions. “The bike is perfect for long days in the mountains and for extended tours. It is very comfortable to ride and conveys a real feeling of safety and confidence.”
