Connected e-bike
RX Connect is the digital extension of your bike and takes your riding experience to a new level. With an integrated RX Chip and RX Service to go with it, you can completely secure your bike and, at the same time, remotely access all key information. When it is activated, the RX Connect app shows the location of the bike, offers a digital motion alarm and automatically records rides, giving extensive riding statistics.
Once you have registered your bike online, you will receive the free premium guarantee and access to your My Bike service platform. That is where you manage your personal data and retrieve the technical data for your bike. You can book the RX Service of your choice through your account and enjoy – depending on the service available in your country – enjoy fully comprehensive insurance cover and a bike recovery and replacement service in the event that your bike is stolen.
The RX Services
ConnectRide is the service for anyone who wants to maximise the convenience of their connected e-bike: from anti-theft protection via GPS tracking and motion-sensitive alarm to extensive riding statistics. ConnectCare includes all the benefits of ConnectRide, and you also benefit from anti-theft protection with bike recovery and replacement service and fully comprehensive insurance cover for your bike – to ensure that you are fully covered when out and about.

The RX Chip
The concealed and permanently fitted RX Chip is equipped with wireless-based geolocation technology and extensive sensors. It sends data, such as the location and riding statistics, wirelessly to your RX Connect App – with minimal battery consumption and with deep building penetration. The internal power of your bike feeds the RX Chip, which continues to transmit for an extended period of time, even if the bike battery has been removed. Service updates are automatically delivered over the air.
The RX Connect app
The free RX Connect app is the mobile cockpit for your Riese & Müller bike: you can keep an eye on all the data in your My Bike service platform and find dealers or workshops near you. If you have booked an RX Service, the RX Connect app connects you to your bike: it shows its location, routes ridden and comprehensive riding statistics – reliably recorded on the bike via GPS. If required, you can secure it with a digital motion alarm.
Please note: push notifications and geolocation services need to be activated to use these features. The RX Connect app requires iOS 13 or Android 10.0 or later, and is available in German, English, Dutch, French, Italian and Spanish.
