The motor
Powerful, reliable and proven – that’s Bosch motors. When your pedalling power and motor assistance work together, you get exactly the performance you need when out and about.
The driving force of Bosch motors ensures that you reach any destination. Its integration into the bottom bracket ensures a low centre of gravity, directional stability and the direct transfer of force to the rear wheel by a chain or belt. The driving force of the e-bike is controlled by the pedals: the harder you pedal, the more the electric drive assists you – stop pedalling and the motor stops, but you keep on rolling.
The low-maintenance motors have an electronic control unit with a 32-bit processor and sensors for power, pedalling rate and speed. Thanks to 1,000 sensor measurements per second, its coordination is superb. The higher the power, the higher the torque and therefore the faster the acceleration. A pushing and starting aid helps your bike up hills at 6 km/h at the touch of a button, even if you are not sitting on the saddle.

The Bosch range calculator.
Calculate the range of your next e-bike tour in advance online. You can enter parameters such as the rider’s weight, motor, battery or type of terrain. You can also influence the range independently of your e-bike's technology. Reduced pedal assistance and more muscle power on your part can increase the range significantly.
