Sarah-Helene Sowa becomes Head of Sustainability at Riese & Müller

Mühltal, 06.05.2024: Effective May 1, 2024, Sarah-Helene Sowa has been appointed Head of Sustainability at Riese & Müller. As a staff position, she reports directly to CEO Dr Sandra Wolf and is part of the management team.

Her tasks focus on driving the Riese & Müller sustainability vision, the overarching management of sustainability projects and dealing with national and international regulations. Sarah-Helene Sowa has been with Riese & Müller since 2022 and has been previously responsible for process management in the Sales & International Strategy department. She previously studied business administration in Frankfurt and worked in various project and management roles for Commerzbank AG.

“Sustainability is a strategic pillar of Riese & Müller and crucial for the future viability of the company. In the next phase of the sustainability strategy, implementation expertise is of the utmost importance. With Sarah-Helene, we have been able to recruit a committed woman for this position who has proven that she can get complex projects on the road,” says Dr. Sandra Wolf, CEO of Riese & Müller.

With the aim of being the most sustainable company in the e-bike industry by 2025, the company presented achievements in the areas of zero waste, zero emissions, supply chain transparency and regenerative business practices for the 2022/2023 financial year.
