Our folding genius in two words: iconic and compact. Collapsed in seconds, you can take it wherever you are going. Its sophisticated details ensure that the full-suspension Birdy is in no way inferior to a fully fledged bike – the focus here is on safety, comfort and fun.

Record folder.

No other folding bike can be collapsed as quickly in just four adept moves – the world record is only 4.9 seconds. And the Birdy can also be adjusted just as quickly to heights of 1.50 to 2.00 m. Thanks to its compact folded dimensions, it is the perfect bike to accompany you on your daily train journey to the office or the next trip in your camper van.

Folding hinges? No way.

The unique feature of the Birdy: the pivot points of the suspension also act as the pivot points to fold the bike. This creates a clean look combined with maximum rigidity and stability of the frame. Weighing just 13 kg in conjunction with its low-maintenance rohloff hub gear, the Birdy is also a real lightweight.

You can ride comfortably up hill and down dale, even at high speed, with Riese & Müller Control Technology. The combination of front wheel suspension, rear swing arm and co-sprung luggage carriers sets it apart with perfect traction. Its adapted ratio range, the large diameter of the stem, and its quadruple clamp go one step further to ensuring a perfect riding experience.
